| | Meet Our Wonderful Instructors & Healing Arts Service Providers! Experienced. Well-Trained. Professional. Dedicated. Caring. Holistic. The teachers and healing arts professionals at Dream Yoga are the best! They have training in a variety of yoga, meditation, massage, acupuncture, and other holistic disciplines that are proven to enhance health, well-being and personal transformation. All have made their yoga or meditation practice, and/or the healing arts service they provide, central to their lives. For us, teaching yoga and meditation, and providing a healing arts service…is simply sharing what we love and what we know works. Most of Dream’s yoga teachers are trained in or influenced by Kripalu Yoga—a yoga practice that teaches the basic mechanics of yoga postures and breath…while encouraging inner focus, feeling, and mind-body awareness. Many also have experience and training in using "yoga as medicine" or "therapeutic yoga." It is our pleasure and blessing to serve you. She is in the process of completing the 500-Hour Pranakriya Yoga Therapy Program. Her nursing education and experience gives further depth to her yoga instruction/therapy, as does her training and certification as a Personal Trainer. Audrey has also completed training as an Advanced Mind Body Practitioner through the Center for Mind-Body Medicine and is leading Mind Body skills groups at Walter Reed Army Medical Center beginning in March. She currently teaches Yoga locally in Arlington and is on the faculty at George Mason University as a Yoga Instructor. (For the past three years, she’s been leading the for-credit yoga classes created at George Mason by Luann Fulbright in 2004.) Audrey came to Yoga initially to deal with chronic low back pain and stress-related problems. From the first experience of Yoga, she was captivated by the healing that accompanied the movement in and out of poses. Ten years after first stepping onto the mat, she is still inspired to share the gifts of healing that she continues to derive from the practice—body, mind, and spirit. Teaching and practicing Yoga has become her passion to share with all who seek relief from stress, inner peace, and the healing that comes from looking inward for answers.
